Comparing Hussein Ali and Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

vs

I had an interesting discussion with a Baha’i recently. I mentioned that nowadays there\'s another guy claiming to be the return of Bahaullah called Maitreya. This Maitreya is a persian living in Canada and has writing many \'Holy Writings\' beating Bahaullah himself in terms of sheer volume of writings.

Immediately my Baha’i friend started comparing Maitreya to Bahaullah. He started asking whether he has the 3 important things to show prophethood, i.e. Holy book, new calendar and new social laws.

Look at the first thing he did when I mentioned another \'prophet\' has come to replace Bahaullah, immediately he jumps to compare them. That\'s just human nature.

But I start comparing the person of Bahaullah to the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace be upon him), my esteemed Bahai friend simply says that we shouldn\'t compare them. He even asks me why I would compare them. But when the ball is in his court, he does the very same natural thing, he compares.

The question is, why the double standards? Of course if you would compare Prophet Muhammad with Bahaullah, its like comparing a rocket launcher to and axe.

Let\'s compare shall we the achievements of Prophet Muhammad that Bahaullah didn\'t even come close to:

1. Prophet Muhammad was given the sign between his shoulder blades that signifies he was a Prophet.

2. Prophet Muhammad succeeded in even calling the Jinns to Islam,

3. Prophet Muhammad was made Head of State in Medina,

4. Prophet Muhammad was a Commander on the battlefield,

5. Prophet Muhammad was given the honor of the Night Journey to Aqsa and the Ascension, where the five daily prayers were revealed,

6. Prophet Muhammad was unlettered,

7. Prophet Muhammad\'s life was an open book which was recorded in what we call the Sunnah. In fact, he is the only person on earth that we have literature (hadith) on his actions, sayings, instructions, etc.

8. Prophet Muhammad led all the other prophets in prayer in Aqsa mosque during the Night Journey.

9. Prophet Muhammad was the founder of a great Islamic civilization and empire the size of 2/3 of the world,

Of course the list goes on. I\'ll add to it when I recall more. Just to highlight, the above achievements were NEVER achieved by Bahaullah or his successors. I apologize if it sounds rude, but I\'m stating a fact. please feel free to correct me.
