A Radical Word

If we searched the thick history book in details and carefully, we will encounter an indescribable joy. This word contains inseparable parts like search and exploration. One should possess extensive understanding and wisdom in order to discover it. Man is a creature who is ready to riot every moment in essence. Human being deems it his/her duty to search for this word to enjoy it.

Truth is a word which creates motivation and enthusiasm in a person who encounters it. Many people have introduced it as a vital word in the world and have tried to establish his/her life based on it. It can be said without exaggeration that all human being have searched and are searching for truth and they don’t stop searching to gain it. For this reason, human sensors are sensitive to this word; Cos this word is one the most important and basic spiritual needs of human. But Human beings have encountered a serious problem. The greatest difference of human has been the way of discovering reality from the first day till now. Using wisdom is the most basic and fundamental way to achieve it. The real truth seekers have assumed wisdom as the luminous light and leading thing for the dark ways.

God has created wisdom for everyone. This topic is so important that Sheik Baha’i, one of the great scientist of the history and Khajeh Abdullah Ansari also write: “What didn’t you bestow to whom you have bestowed wisdom and what have you bestowed to whom you haven’t bestowed wisdom?”

Consequently, wisdom should be illustrative and elucidating for the human being to make him/her achieve the truth.

Taharri Haqiqat [to be free to select the truth] is considered as one of the important slogans by Baha’ism and the heads of this cult are insisting it every day. This issue is so important this cult that they assume it as one of twelve teachings and so the basis of Baha’ism. Baha’ism could attract the people who were searching for the truth because of this teaching. But the major problem is the method of discovering the truth in Baha’ism cult.

The Excellency Mirza Hussein Ali Nouri the founder of this creed dismissed wisdom from the freedom of truth as the most important and basic means of distinguishing the right and wrong from the beginning:

“Know what your wisdom commands and what is understood over your wisdom or lower one isn’t and won’t be as means for the recongnition of right.” (Page 286, Badi’s)

And he advises Babi scholars on page 192 of Iqan book that: “Don’t have recourse to your understanding and insight in order to recognize he whom God will manifest.

It is apparent that the Excellency Bahaullah has considered wisdom as his opposite concept and has collated it frankly and he has described the way where God has established for the human being to discover the truth as a useless one. And more interesting is this issue that he presents a very different way to the world to achieve the most sensitive word of the history: Snuffing! [superficial and physical understanding]

“In the divine science school some essences have been appeared that distinguish right and wrong superficially.” (Page 50, Eqtedarat]

Yes, you heard that setting aside wisdom and insight and understanding right is the method of a newly established creed for selecting the truth. A great question is arisen now. Is the main method of truth the way has been shown to us by this creed’s prophet? Is it a truth which human being searches for it? Why is truth a radical word in Baha’ism?
