The irreligious film maker won the award for religious film

An Iranian film maker who is irreligious according to himself made a film to praise the deviant cult of Baha’ism called “the gardener” in Israel won the religious film award!

Mohsen Makhmalbaf who made a film ordered by Baha’is and the Zionistic companies in the occupied lands was awarded by of his so-called spiritual film.

The B.B.C. network who has welcomed this event, wrote: “Mohsen Makhmalbaf, the Iranian director received the “Robert Bresson” award; this award has been granted since 2000 commemorating “Robert Bresson, the famous French film maker simultaneous with Venice festival. This award is granted to the film maker whose works have spiritual effects and narrate human beings’ struggles to find the spiritual meaning in life passing the difficult paths.

It is interesting to be noted that Makhmalbaf has presented his award to “Oleg Sentsov” an Ukrainian film maker who has adjudged to 20 years of imprisonment due to espionage last week.

It must be said that Makhmalbaf introduced himself as an irreligious film maker on Tir, 1392. He has also called Baha’ism as an exemplary religion. He said: I love Israel.

Of course, the criterion of granting award is obvious. Each work which attacks the Islamic system of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be surely paid attention by such festivals. There are such runaway Iranian directors who have received such awards and have prostituted themselves.
