The heads of the cults grow in various cultural, social, political and economic environments. They attract, control and proselytize to continue to live. Each cult has its own self-appointed head without any exception who tries to attract unaware people towards the cult organizational aims. In many instances, a claimant who is the founder of the cult is at the top of organizational structure of the cult. The process of decision making is concentrated on him/her. The head of the cult and the claimants are often men; but there are the women who had claimed to be. In most instances, the attracted people to the cult are too passionate with the head that they believe he/she has divine rank or prophet or Imam. In this article, it is intended for the head of the cults’ behaviors and functions to be investigated. What are the heads’ features? The heads of the cults are mostly suffered from mental disorders. They claim to be special and elected. They inspire their followers they have come to help them or they claim to bring a new religion and they are mere ways to pass life path correctly.

The aims of heads of cults:

The heads of cults are following their interests, power, fame and wealth. They try to make commitment, time, energy, obedience, taking on responsibilities, submission, trust, belief and personal and occupational dependence. Indeed, exploitation and taking the cult identity of the members are the main aims of the heads of the cults. The heads often possess the charismatic personalities to be used for influencing, attracting and deceiving the members. They use some psychological techniques and methods to influence on the members. They act as if they know all the answers for questions and puzzles. They use a special style in speech. They behave with the members using a special literature and their potential acts, experiences and capabilities. They are imposters since they use words skillfully to convey their messages.

Members:

In order to convince the members to be attracted, the heads exaggerate their knowledge and character. They offer attractive suggestions in order for the members to believe they possess high levels in scientific, philosophical, psychological or political views. Of course, a great part of this imaginations are made by old members of the cult. On the other side, the new members start repeating what have been repeated by the old ones. All of these psychological and mental factor applied by the head causes a person to be attracted to the cult and remained there for years. In fact, they are inspired to be in the cult by the decision made by the members; that is, nobody has told or forced them to be in the cult. In such circumstances, the cult gives new identity to the members to keep them; so, the person is introduced as a special and influential member by the head. He/she is given many responsibilities. He/she is granted special titles and is behaved warmly.
