Pay more attention to your statement, the Excellency Baha’i expert: in which faith getting married with the step-father is allowable except Baha’ism, that is disgusting to you?

Bahaismiran:

In one of the programs of Novin TV.  which is related to Baha’ism cult some of the rules of the Islamic republic of Iran were criticized severely.

The expert of the program said at the end of his speech: “Everybody is responsible to be sensitive with some of the degrading and disgusting rules such as getting married with step-father by step-son/daughter and he/she mustn’t let such cases to happen and doesn’t let the government to act according to its desires.[1]”

It seems at this time the expert has been confused and attributed what are mentioned in Baha’ism to the system to government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

1) In Islam, the marriage rules have been established based on the human temperament and getting married with some groups is prohibited. The almighty God has stated in the holy Quran:

\"لا تَنْکِحُوا ما نَکَحَ آباؤُکُمْ مِنَ النِّساءِ... (نساء/ 23-22)

“And marry not those women whom your fathers married, except what hath already happened (of that nature) in the past. LO! It was lewdness and abomination, and an evil way(22)

Forbidden unto you are your mothers, and your daughters      and your father’s sisters , and your mother’s sisters, and your brother’s daughters, and your sisters daughters, and your foster mothers, and your foster sisters, and your mother-in-law and your step-daughters who are under your protection (born) of your women unto whom ye have gone in but if ye have not gone in unto them, then it is no sign for you (to marry their daughters) and the wives of your sons who (spring) from your own loins. And (it is forbidden unto you) that ye should have two sisters together, except what hath already happened (of that nature) in the past. LO! Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.(23)

However, in the Baha’i faith people have been just prohibited to get married with their fathers’ wives.[2]

2) Abdul Baha has posed a principle that goes: “Not mentioning the prohibition commandment in the divine tablets means the action is allowable.[3]”

Baha’i heads consider it allowable to get married with the intimates; because it is said in the Aqdas supplements: “Refer to the Universal House of Justice in all the issues related to getting married with the intimates.[4]” the universal house of justice has also said:

“People themselves are in charge of the issue of getting married with the intimates.[5]”

“Thus, according to their leaders, Baha’is are free to get married with their intimates such as sisters and mothers. Now, how is it possible for them to criticize the Islamic commandments and to consider them disgusting.
